Cypress

The Lone Cypress tree signifies death and mourning

 

The once outgoing, fun-loving, risk-taking Cypress has recently been stricken with colon cancer. Her husband has preceded her in death and the only family she has is a seven year old blind daughter. Cypress struggles with who will raise her daughter after her death.

 

Petunia

The red Petunia flower represents resentment and anger

 

Petunia is a hard working and successful attorney at a powerful law firm. She has planned out her career, love, and life to the tee. Will she be able to achieve her aggressive goals?

 

Mimosa

The Mimosa flower is a symbol of sensitivity

 

Mimosa is the caring principal of an elementary school. She loves children and has committed her life to their well being, but there is a void in her life that she does not know how to fill.

Parsley is Hazel's committed care-giver. Parsley met Cypress shortly after Cypress moved to the country in an attempt to isolate herself from the pain in her life. Parsley has been instrumental in leading Cypress to spiritual healing and reconciliation.
